What $10,000 in monthly Google Ad credits does for our cause
North Shore Crisis Services Society has been awarded a Google Ad Grant, giving us $10,000 each month in Google ad credits! This generous boost will play a huge role in helping us address violence in our community, raise awareness about these critical issues, and reach more people in need.
Over the past year, we’ve been hard at work fine-tuning and optimizing our Google ads as the need to address gender-based violence has grown more urgent. Tragically, in Canada, a woman is killed every other day, according to the Canadian Femicide Observatory for Justice and Accountability.
So, how will this Google Ad Grant truly make a difference for us? Here’s a closer look:
Increased Visibility: This grant will help us boost our online presence, making it easier for those in crisis to find us. Google ads will let us target searches related to domestic violence, offering immediate help to those who need it.
Public Awareness: Raising awareness is key to prevention. These ad credits will help us spread the word about recognizing abuse and knowing where to find support.
Community Engagement: With this grant, we can connect more directly with the community, running campaigns that invite people to get involved and make a difference.
Support Service Access: For those in danger, quick access to information is crucial. Our ads will link directly to emergency contacts, support services, and safe housing options—potentially saving lives.
Resource Mobilization: By increasing our visibility, we hope to attract more volunteers, donors, and sponsors. This additional support can help us expand our services and reach even more individuals affected by violence.
This grant is a fantastic boost for our efforts toward creating a safer, more supportive community. But we need your help to make the most of it—so please keep helping us spread the word!
A special thank you to our partners at Google and DoGooders for their invaluable support.
