FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Harbour West Consulting Announces Platinum Sponsorship of Gala of Grace 2024
Harbour West Consulting continues its support of the Gala of Grace, benefiting North Shore Crisis Services Society, a charity that provides emergency shelter and essential services to women and children overcoming violence.
North Vancouver, BC, Feb. 3, 2024 - Today, Harbour West Consulting Inc., a local Executive Search, Recruitment, and HR Consulting firm specializing in the non-profit and public sector, announced its Platinum Sponsorship with North Shore Crisis Services Society (“NSCSS”) and their annual charitable fundraiser, the Gala of Grace. Funding from the sponsorship will help the charity provide emergency shelter, essential aid, trauma-informed support, food, and other basic necessities to women and children leaving violence. The Gala of Grace will be held at the Pipe Shop on April 26, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Since its inaugural event in 2016, fundraising from the Gala of Grace has allowed the charity to sustain their services while continuing to open new safe housing programs for women and children on the North Shore. Since 1979, NSCSS has operated “SAGE House”, North Vancouver’s first and oldest women’s transition house. NSCSS now offers 5 housing programs, 3 of which provide longer-term housing (up to 18 months) for families who need a safe place to live after completing their 30-day stay at a shelter or transition house.
The sponsorship follows Harbour West Consulting’s rebrand earlier this month. The new branding reflects the natural elements of the North Shore, cementing its commitment to serving its local community. With a strong commitment to positive social change, Harbour West Consulting has supported local organizations since it began operations in 2008. “We are proud to support NSCSS, the Gala of Grace, and the vital work they do. Together, we stand united in promoting resilience, empowerment, and support for those in need,” shares Carol Robinson, Founder and Principal at Harbour West Consulting.
“Last year, we welcomed 316 women and children into our safe housing programs,” said Sandra Lee, Manager of Development at NSCSS. “Thanks to cherished partners like Harbour West Consulting, countless families from our North Shore community are safely enjoying their night in peace. We deeply appreciate their enduring support.”
