Celebrating a Remarkable Partnership: Thank You, North Shore Waterfront Gala!

MAY 9, 2024 - We are thrilled to share that the North Shore Waterfront Gala has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to making a positive, generational impact in our community. Thanks to their extraordinary efforts, the recent gala raised over $65,000 for North Shore Crisis Services Society (NSCSS).

But the good news doesn't stop there! The North Shore Waterfront Gala has extended our partnership for an additional year, making it a three-year collaboration, generously providing another $50,000 grant to support our mission in 2025.

A Night to Cherish

The North Shore Waterfront Gala, held annually, is more than just an event – it’s a celebration of community, legacy, and hope. This year's gala was truly spectacular. Attendees enjoyed a heartfelt evening filled with delicious food, excellent company, lively games, and a strong sense of leadership and purpose. The room buzzed with energy as supporters united for a cause close to all our hearts. We were deeply touched by how enthusiastically everyone kept the momentum going and encouraged others to join in their philanthropic efforts.

Making A Difference Together

The funds raised at the gala will profoundly impact the women and children we serve at NSCSS. These resources, for instance, will help to ensure essentials like heat, electricity, security, furniture, running water, food, and more for women and children in our Second-Stage Housing Programs. Additionally, when our client families transition into stable housing, this funding will help give them the best possible start.  Our Home Start-Up Kits provide families moving into their new homes with essentials like groceries, toiletries, kitchen basics, bedding, curtains, and more.  These are just a few examples of the amazing work made possible by their generosity.

Extending Our Partnership

The additional $50,000 grant for 2025 will further bolster our efforts to ensure that every woman and child who reaches out for help feels safe, valued, and confident in their future. Over the past two years, this collaboration has been instrumental in helping us achieve significant milestones in poverty reduction, prevention education, and enhancing overall service quality throughout the organization.

This continued support is a testament to the North Shore Waterfront Gala’s belief in our mission and their dedication to creating a safer, more supportive community for everyone.
