A Heartfelt Thank You to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 118

Poppy, Remembrance Day, NSCSS thanks Royal Canadian Legion 118 for supporting Janet's Place

As Remembrance Day nears, we are especially grateful to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 118 for their generous $5,000 grant in support of Janet’s Place. Their contribution will make a meaningful difference for the lives of women and children who find refuge and healing at this second-stage housing program.

As we take a moment to honour those who have served our country, we also reflect on the vital role that legions like Branch 118 play in strengthening our community. Beyond their dedication to veterans, legions are deeply involved in supporting local causes, creating a space for community connection, and providing assistance to those in need. The support from Branch 118 helps ensure that women and children facing violence can find safety and healing.

Thank you, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 118, for your unwavering commitment to veterans, their families, and our community.
