OUR WORK

Since 1979, NSCSS has supported women and children by providing emergency shelter and vital services to ensure their safety and help them leave abuse.

What We Offer

  • Safe & Supportive Housing

    We operate the SAGE Transition House and three Second-Stage Housing Programs to provide safe, confidential accommodations for women and families escaping violence on the North Shore. Our dedicated staff are here to support you every step of the way.

  • Community Outreach Services

    For women and families who have been affected by domestic abuse but are not currently seeking supportive housing, we offer specialized programs for adults and youth, as well as outreach services in English, Farsi, and Dari. Interpreter services are also available.

  • Support for Children & Youth

    The PEACE Program is our specialized program for children and youth that aims to help them express their emotions and process experiences. Sessions are offered in person for current clients as well as the public.
